Stroll Around Water Meadows Winchester

Many of us have done this walk before, but this time it’s in the opposite direction and at a very gentle pace given the hot weather.

Meet from 1.15pm for 1.30pm start at the King Alfred Statue. We’ll walk out across the water meadows to St Cross Hospital where we’ll stop for refreshments in their 100 Hall. We’ll return back into Winchester on the other side of the Itchen. Once back in Winchester we can stop for a cool drink in one of the pubs.

The stroll will be around 2 miles in total on flat, dry terrain. Please remember to bring water, sunscreen etc
