Let's see the preview of film 'Materialists' at Harbour Lights

If you are a member of Harbour Lights, you may have received an invitation to see a preview of the film Materialists on 10th August 2025 at 5.45pm before its general release. There are plenty of seats left at the moment. I have reserved seat E3 if you fancy sitting in the same row or nearby.

The Oscar-nominated filmmaker who took our breath away with Past Lives returns for another story of modern romance with Materialists: a dazzling new take on the rom-com from Celine Song, starring the never-better love triangle of Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal and Chris Evans. Members, see it first at our preview, brought to you by Kia.

Johnson is Lucy, a NYC matchmaker who sees love as a business. Her beliefs are questioned when two potential suitors of her own come into the picture: a seemingly-perfect bachelor (Pascal) and her perfectly imperfect ex (Evans).

There's free parking at the cinema but you do need to put your vehicle registration on the pad when you arrive to avoid getting a fine.
