Walk + Bere Mill Garden

We’ll begin the walk promptly at 1pm at the recreation ground public car park Laverstoke Lane, Laverstoke, Whitchurch. RG28 7NY. What Three Words - ‘Loves.Stalemate.Voted’ . Parking is free on bank holidays.
From the car park we walk west uphill onto an unmade track through a lightly wooded area before emerging onto the Bere Mill Meadows. Walking along the edge of the woods with the meadows on our right we reach the far end where we drop down the hill to Bere Mill Garden.
The garden at Bere Mill is open from 1pm as part of the National Garden Scheme. Entry is £8, with proceeds going to charity. The garden boasts sculptures, bog garden, herbaceous and mediterrean borders, an orchard and much more https://beremillfarm.co.uk/garden/map-of-the-garden/
After exploring the garden we can enjoy some coffee and cake before making our way back to the car park - see photo of route.
The walk is around 2 miles in total with some inclines. It may be muddy in places if it has been raining. Please check back here on day before event for update.
People are welcome to just come along for the visit to the garden. You can meet us at Bere Mill from around 1.30pm. Please post a comment if this is what you plan to do.
