Frogham, New Forest, 3 mile walk from the Forester's Arms

Details
3 mile walk starting at the Forester's Arms in Frogham, taking in some of the New Forest's most beautiful scenery. Following the valley of Latchmore Brook, the walk includes pavement, gravel paths and soft green turf, with a couple of streams to cross. There is one quite steep (gravel track) hill to climb - probably about 150 meters to the top of Hampton Ridge. We will walk past the Ashley Walk Illuminated Target, which was an experimental bombing range during WWII.
Meet at 2.15 to set off at 2.30pm, walk will take approximately 2 hours.
Location: The Forester's Arms, Abbots Well Rd, Fordingbridge SP6 2JA
There is plenty of parking at the pub.
Please dress appropriately, walking boots probably a must for this. Bring snacks and water.
We can have a drink at the pub after the walk for anyone who is interested. If we're lucky the donkeys will be in the pub garden...
The walk will not go ahead if heavy rain - will check the forecast the day before. Please check back here for any updates.
