Festive Winchester Walk

Let’s don our Christmas jumpers and hats 🎅 and go for a late afternoon festive walk in and around Winchester 🎄

Meet at 2pm by the King Alfred Statue. There is free parking in the Chesil Car Park. From there we’re walk out across the water meadows towards St Catherine’s Hill. We’ll stop for refreshments on route - venue tbc. I’ll provide some mince pies.

We’ll make our way back into town via a circular route. By this time it will be getting dark and we can walk around town looking at the Christmas Tree and lights. If it is not too busy we’ll have a stroll around the Christmas Market. For those that fancy we can go for a drink afterwards.

The walk is approximately 2 miles, on the flat and will be on pathways and pavements.
