Festive Winchester Walk

Let’s don our Christmas jumpers and hats 🎅 and go for a late afternoon festive walk in and around Winchester 🎄

Meet at 2pm by the King Alfred Statue. From there we’ll walk out towards St Catherine’s Hill, along Garnier Road, through Kingsgate and into the Inner Close and the Christmas Market. We’ll then head towards the High Street and back to the start of the walk. We’ ll stop for refreshments around half way at the Queen Inn - I’ll provide some mince pies. For those that fancy, we’ll be going to Weatherspoon afterwards for a drink/food.
The walk is approximately 2.5miles, on the flat and will be on pathways and pavements. The forecast is for a dull day but no rain 🤞
Please be aware it is very busy in Winchester at the moment and allow extra time for travel/parking.
There is free parking at Chesil Street, Riverpark and Worthy Lane
