FREE Southampton’s Historical Light Projection Trail + optional Chinese Mea

This February, 6 historic buildings across Southampton will be transformed by large-scale outdoor projections bringing the city’s heritage to life after dark. Each artwork offers a creative snapshot inspired by stories, objects and people from Southampton’s past. These include Bargate, The Castle Vault The Dancing Man Brewery, Holy Rood Church, King John’s Palace, and Southampton City Art Gallery. The Castle Vault will also be open and free to visit.
Meet from 6pm at the Giddy Bridge for a drink. At 6.30pm prompt we’ll walk the 2 mile trail around the city - see map in photos - in a clockwise direction arriving back at Giddy Bridge around 8pm for a drink. I’ve booked a table for 10 people for 8.30pm at The New Panda Chinese Restaurant in Bedford Place. A few of us have eaten here before and found the food enjoyable and reasonably priced - see photos.
