FREE D-Day Museum

As part of the National Lottery Open Week, The D-Day Museum is offering FREE entry on production of a National Lottery ticket or scratchcard - 1 per person - and who knows you might be a winner! Meet at 12pm inside the museum restaurant where we can enjoy a coffee before starting our visit. For those travelling by car there is parking at the museum - £7.30 for 6 hours. You might like to consider car share. For those wishing to travel by train, I will be catching the 10.15am from Winchester arriving Portsmouth Harbour at 11.18am. If you’re travelling from Southampton Central catch the 10.20am train to Eastleigh where you’ll change to get the 10.31am to Portsmouth Harbour. From there we’ll get a bus and it’s a short walk to the Museum. We’ll travel back around 5pm. We’ll spend a few hours looking round the museum, reconvening at 2.30pm. We’ll then take the 15 minute stroll along to Clarence Pier where we’ll stop for a late lunch at the Brewers Fayre - who offer a £6 light lunch deal https://www.brewersfayre.co.uk/en-gb/daytime-menu/brewers_fayre_daytime_6.pdf Alternatively people can do there own thing for lunch.
