The next Positive Money Discussion is "A Publicly Owned Digital Money System" Sunday, July 9th
There will almost certainly be a Central; Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) introduced in the near future. Should this be managed and controlled by the banks or be publicly controlled? A CBDC could be more like paper money as cards could be used shared or given like cash so the money is on the card, not someone's bank account. Are there security issues, Come to our discussion on Sunday, July 9th at 2:00 pm and we can look at all these issues.
