Game #1: Saturday 9v9 Pickup Co-ed

Welcome to South Austin Soccer (SAS)! If you love soccer (futbol), please come out and play with us. It's co-ed pickup. Any experience level.

HOUSEKEEPING: We are one of Austin's largest and most active soccer pick up group on Meetup. Please read everything posted here - it's important.

If we do not reach 14 RSVPs by 8am, game is automatically cancelled.

I NEED YOUR HELP TO SUSTAIN THIS GROUP: no longer collecting the money for games, unless they are reserved fields. I am a licensed Realtor and seasoned investor. This will help me to generate additional funds to support our wonderful group!

Bring a white and dark shirt in case we need to even out teams

1. Park in the large parking lot on Cumberland Road
2. If we have too many players, start the FIRST GAME at 7v7 and push the remaining players to the 2nd game until it has numbers. Than we can even out the teams with remaining players showing up.
3. Pick up after yourself. Do not leave any trash behind please!
4. Waitlisted - do not show up!! The system will automatically move you over to the Go list if someone changes his RSVP.

GAME RULES:
You must RSVP to play!! This is crucial in keeping head count and giving members an idea of how many will attend and how to split the teams.

• Practice good sportsmanship please! We are not paid to play so let's keep language, fair play and calls in line.
• Absolutely no slide tackling, unnecessary roughness or fighting. You will be ejected from the group.
• No offsides or cherry picking (hanging by the goal side)
• Have fun! We're here to enjoy the game, so let's not forget that.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• If it rains 1-2 hours before the game, we will cancel it. It's grass field and the park service does not want us to damage it
• If there is lightning, we will cancel it.
