ASL Basics Ice Cream Social

Hi fellow ASL learners! This event is for those who want to learn ASL basics: alphabet, numbers, colors, basic phrases, etc.

Lessons will be flexible, based on what you all want to learn!

Event will be held in Long Beach, indoors, at an Mexican ice cream shop/snack shop as an ASL & ice cream social.

I have spoken to the owner and he is awesome and very excited and welcoming to us to meet here weekly, if all goes well!

All level of ASL leaners are welcome and those who love ice cream and snacks are would love to come and learn!

*Parking: there is a FREE parking lot, but there is also usually FREE street parking right in front of the shop.

Hellooo! I am Kriz. 🐼

I have taken ASL 1 & 2, but a very long time ago (high school days! 😬). I wanted to get back into learning more ASL and brushing up on my basics. I have a niece who is hard of hearing, which was my first exposure to ASL.

I am a preschool special education teacher. And, I have taught ASL to a lot of non-verbal students to help them communicate! It has been an amazing journey. 😍
