Portola Redwoods State Park

Hike Description:
We will start at Iverson Trail to Coyote Ridge Trail to Upper Coyote Ridge Trail, onward to Tarwater Trail then connect to Pomponio Trail, then back to Iverson Trail and head to Sequoia Nature Trail and loop back to starting point. The first loop is about 6.1 miles and adding Sequoia Nature Trail is another 1 mile. If we are ambitious, we can go another 1.5 miles out and back to Tiptoe Falls.
There might be creek crossings. Bring appropriate gear.
General Directions to the Park: From Highway 35, turn west onto Alpine Road, go 3 miles, and stay left onto Portola State Park Road. The road dead ends in the park. Park across from the Park Office/Visitors Center in the Tan Oak Day Use parking lot.
