Day Pass is $6 per vehicle and you can purchase the day pass one month in advance and therefore sign up opens accordingly so that people can plan ahead. Also welcome to coordinate carpool if you like.

About the Park: This lushly wooded park of 1,133 acres, is nestled in upper Uvas Canyon on the eastern side of the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Hike Description: We are going to do approximately 6 mile loop from the Ranger Station on to the Waterfall Trail to join the Contour Trail. This winding trail takes us along Swanson Creek where we'll see Black Rock Falls, Upper Falls, and Basin Falls. We'll then connect to the Alec Canyon Trail to see Manzanita Point where we'll get beautiful view of the Diablo Range and then hike down to to see the three tiered Triple Falls waterfall. There is one stream crossing without a bridge, so waterproof shoes and a walking stick(s) would be useful.

Carpool Suggestion: Park and Ride on Highway 85 and Camden Avenue. Please arrange on your own.

Directions to Trailhead (from Park and Ride):

• Take I-280 south
• Exit to HIGHWAY 85 heading south toward Gilroy
• Take Highway 85 to Highway 101
• Take Highway 101 South
• Take the Bailey Avenue exit (Exit 373)
• Turn right onto Bailey Avenue
• Continue on Bailey Road 3.2 miles to McKean Road
• Turn left onto McKean Road (which becomes Uvas Road).
• Continue for 6 miles
• Turn right onto Croy Road
• Continue 4.4 miles on Croy Road to reach the park entrance
• Enter park and park in first parking lot on the right (below the bathrooms)
