A Hike through Red Rock Canyon
Details
Red Rock Canyon near Manitou Springs offers plenty of beautiful trails to choose from.

We'll combine several trails and turn this into a 5-mile hike with an elevation gain of about 500 feet. About 6200 - 6700 ft.

Please be aware the elevation and thin air may create challenges for some folks.
Skill level: Moderate - some parts of the trail are a little steeper and it runs about 5 miles.
Trailhead at 9:00 am - parking at trailhead Location: Please see the link and posted photo for the location of the trailhead.
Items to bring include sunscreen, hat, hiking shoes, food, trekking poles (if you think you may need them), plenty of water.
Microspikes? It can't hurt to have them, just in case they are a few icy spots.
