Hike to Palmer Lake & Balanced Rock

Palmer Lake Reservoir trail takes us to two beautiful lakes and Balanced Rock.

6-mile round trip - about 7200 feet to 8300 feet.

Sorry, NO DOGS are allowed on this trail since the reservoir provides water for the town of Palmer Lake.

We won't park at the trailhead listed on Alltrails!!

Items you might bring include sunscreen, hat, hiking shoes, food, trekking poles, if you think you may need them, and plenty of water.
