Paddle on the Root River

Join us for a fun afternoon of paddling on the Root River in Racine! We will meet at 1pm at Horlick Park (3630 Rapids Court, Racine). This park is behind the old Rogan Shoe’s just upstream of the Horlick Dam. This paddle is very gentle - perfect for paddlers of all ages and skill sets. There is plenty of parking and you can drive your boat right up to the launch! Be prepared to sign the Sierra Club Outings Waiver.
