Big Foot Beach State Park Hike

Let’s work off some of the extra calories from the big Easter dinner and the candy we snitched from the kids/grandkids eggs by doing an easy 3 mile hike around the perimeter of Big Foot Beach State Park.

We will meet at 1:00 on Sunday, April 27 in the parking lot at Big Foot Beach State Park. The outer path is 2.82 miles and with very little elevation change, so is an easy hike. The surface is grassy and not paved.

We will hope to be seeing some spring bloomers and maybe some prairie vegetation.

Please let Al Sommer know if you will be joining the hike, so that in the case of bad weather or other need to be called off he can inform you of cancellation.
