The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant Museum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the birthplace of the Model T and the interpretation and celebration of Detroit’s automotive heritage and spirit of innovation.

Visit Henry Ford’s original Model T factory built in 1904, a U.S. National Historic Landmark.

Stroll with us through automotive history with a 75 minute guided tour led by museum historians on Sunday, March 23rd at 2pm.

Tickets are $20 for Adults, $18 for Seniors 65+ or $15 each if our Group is larger than 15. You are all responsible for your own ticket purchase at Will Call.

Please arrive well before 2 o'clock to receive group discount. Understand that we are joining the regularly scheduled tour and they will need to check us all in.

The museum is drafty and has uneven floors, please dress appropriately.

An onsite gift shop is available.

The museum is located on the northwest corner of Piquette and Beaubien, three blocks east of Woodward Avenue; two blocks north of I-94 (exit 215c); two blocks south of West Grand Boulevard; and three blocks west of I-75 (exit 54).

The visitor entrance is located in the free courtyard parking lot on the west side of the building. Take the stairs to the ticket office on the second floor. If you require the elevator, please call (313) 872-8759. The freight elevator opens into the tunnel next to the entrance.
