Ridge Walk - start Menzies Creek - 13 km
I am leading a walk with a walking group and thought I would post it here to see if anyone wants to join us.

📍 Meeting Point
Meet at the car park on left when turning onto Grantulla Rd from C412 from Selby direction.
(the car park is opposite Hancock's Daffodils).

Start time: 10am (please arrive a little earlier so we are ready to go on time).
🥾 About This Walk
The walk starts with a steep ascent on a quiet road to Ridge Rd.
At the top we will walk along the ridge and , if it is a clear day, we will have great views.
We will then descend on a dirt path before following paths and quiet roads back to Menzies Creek.
Emerald and Belgrave are nearby towns well worth a visit if you want to extend your stay in the hills and maybe have a meal, etc.
Everyone is welcome — whether you’re building fitness, seeking community, or simply wanting a peaceful moment outdoors.

🎒 What to Bring
Water, snacks, weather‑appropriate clothing, comfortable shoes, sunscreen/hat, and any personal items you need.
Walking poles might be useful for the ascent and descent.

We hike in all conditions unless they become unsafe. If strong winds, storms, extreme heat, or track closures arise, we may adjust or postpone the walk.
