New Years Eve - picnic/walk EOI

This is just an idea...

I actually don't like big crowds and I'm not especially attached to fireworks or anything like that.
I prefer to have a relatively quiet NYE, in bed early, not hungover the next day.

So I was wondering if anyone would be interested in potentially having an early one say on the beach, sitting on the grass having some snacks, then taking a walk watching early fireworks from a distance and then getting out of there before things get too busy.

Another idea could be maybe in the Dandenongs somewhere far away from it all...

Or if anyone has any other ideas.
