What we're about

Welcome to the Southeast Arizona Mindfulness & Spiritual Experiences Meetup - Also known as: Sanctum. This group facilitates intentional sacred spaces and authentic experiences.

We host meditations and group events that help you experience mindfulness, gratitude, forgiveness, relaxation, breathwork, energy work, healing, and a lot more!

The meditation events, workshops, mini-vacations, and spiritual experiences are held both indoors and outside.

We meet in Sierra Vista in Southeast Arizona, along with other areas and towns including: benson, tombstone, bisbee, vail. A small meditation center is being built at a desert location to offer a sacred place. Ask Ethan about it for more details.

We are a spiritual but non-religious group.

You will likely enjoy this group if you agree with the majority of these ideas:

- There is a a Source known by many names such as Divine, God, Tao, Brahman, Consciousness, YHWH, Love, or the Mystery.
- Humans have the ability to connect with this Divine or have it within themselves.
- Sacred time and space are important.
- It is ok not to have answers.
- It is good to evolve the human by awareness and by actions.

There is no guru, we do not follow any human or group... we practice and apply ideas and healing activities from sources such as:
1- Contemporary: Jack Kornfield, Joe Dispenza, Bruce Lipton, Wayne Dyer, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Wim Hof, Gary Chapman, Louise Hay, Byron Katie, Adyashanti, jed mckenna, School of New Though, etc.
2- Ancient: Vedic Advaita and non-duality, Upanishads and Gita from India, the Tao from Taoist philosophy, Chines energy healing, various meditation practices, and Hermetic ideas.
3- Topics of: mindfulness, forgiveness, prayer, NDEs, OBEs, meditation, guided imagery, hypnosis, muscle testing, mind-body healing..

I ask that everyone to be humble and kind, and welcome everyone from any background. There is no preaching or dogma allowed. All faiths are sacred, but not one of them is exclusively correct or 'the only way'. It is ok to cite or quote from various sources but no preaching, no exclusive 'one path' religious talk, no hidden intentions of evangelizing or solicitation.
Crying is allowed.
This is a sacred spiritual-safe place.
You must give people space and allow each person their own sacred space and experiences. Every person is different.
