Fairlane Summer Campout

Come on out for a camp out and learn some Survival Skills.
Friday: setup tent and cook over the open fire and share stories.
Come for the whole weekend or just a night or even a few hours.

Saturday: Survival Skills Classes
Here are some skill ideas. * Please share what you would like to learn, so we can have the need equipment available. We will do our best to accommodate those skills that are most inquired and time needed.

1. Friction Fire: learn the dynamics of fire, how to make and use a bow drill, the best material and where to find the material.
2. Primitive Fishing Methods: learn to make natures cording. Make a
   gill-net/netting, ext. ( If fishing is available, you will need updated PA fishing license.)
3. Learn how to make Snares and Traps
   What To Bring:
   Drinking water and meals you can cook over the camp fire
   Tent/Sleeping arrangements
   Mess kit,pan, foil, utensils
   Full Tang fixed blade knife
   Flash light
   Personal first aid kit
   Paracord
   Camp/lawn chair
   Bug spray
   Item's you would like to trade or sell at the Trade blanket Saturday early evening.

   *** After unloading your needed items,
   parking will be in Fairlane's Park stone parking lot across the road, next to/along side of the tan buildings, away from the private home.
