What can Wordpress do ?
WordPress powers over 43% of the web, but what can it actually do?
In this talk, we’ll explore the many faces of WordPress, from visual site building for non-developers to fully custom themes, plugins and applications built with code.
We’ll look at how WordPress can be used as:
• a no-code website builder
• a flexible CMS
• a powerful development platform
The session will include a live demo showing how a simple website can be rebuilt using a custom block theme, created visually with WordPress tools and without writing code.
Whether you're a developer, designer or just curious about how modern WordPress works, this talk will show how powerful WordPress can be.
🗓 Date: Thursday 2nd April 2026
⏰ Time: 7:00 PM
Speaker: Anastasia Admoudi | LinkedIn
From her first “Introduction to Programming” class in high school and the computer science courses during her Mathematics studies, to her personal exploration of web development, Anastasia’s path eventually led her to an online full-stack development bootcamp.
This became the starting point of her professional journey in web development.
She began working as a freelancer and also volunteered on various projects, gaining experience mainly within the MongoDB–Express–React–Node ecosystem.
Today, she works as a WordPress Developer at PIE Code, focusing primarily on the development of block themes and the broader use of WordPress, as well as promoting and implementing web accessibility.
