Saturday in the Park

Saturday, May 22nd, at 9:00 AM. Lee will be giving a talk on how to document and report an incident! Information is power and being able to document an event in an organized way is a skill that we should all want to develop.

Also, for those interested in practicing their knots from our previous event, be at the location 15 minutes early and will take a bit of time to refresh some skills.

Reid Park at the pavilion that is just to the east of the western-most baseball field, and just south of E Camino Campestre. There is parking just north of that baseball field, or another lot just to the east, or you can park on the street. Street parking is the closest to the pavilion.

We will have our usual radio talk-in frequencies in case there are difficulties finding our group. On FRS (standard, license-free low-power walkie-talkies) we will be on Channel 05, which is frequency 462.6625. If you have your amateur radio license you can also use 145.890, and we will be listening on both of those. We haven’t had great luck hearing people with the handhelds in the past so please try a few times to make contact before giving up.
