What we’re about
I am in many Tea Groups that only cover one area so I decided to start a group that covers all of Southern California as I enjoy going to other locations & would like to try Tea Houses in all of Southern CA. Looking for women who would like to get together to try different tea houses/enjoy high tea in a variety of venues all over Southern California from the San Fernando Valley (High Tea Cottage) to the Beach (Ritz Carlton) to the Mountains (Mill Creek Manor Tea Room in Big Bear). Also may plan lunches & other events to try new restaurants for brunch, lunch & dinner. Members of this group are in all areas so we do restaurants in a variety of areas. If you enjoy going to high tea and brunches & don't mind a little bit of a drive please join us!

Windsor Square- Hancock Park Holiday Party - SELF PAY
Location not specified yetWe are halfway sold out for our annual Holiday/Christmas party that will be held in one of our Landmark Award winning homes. Since this is a private home there is a limit of 100 attendees to this event. When we reach 100 there will be no more tickets on sale.
The Patrick (Dominguez) Watson Home, Landmark Award #120, now the home of Historical Society Vice President, Joseph Guidera, is the location that will host our event. This house was built in 1927 by Sumner Hunt & Silas Burns Architects. It has a rich history and was rescued and restored by Mr. Guidera in 2012.
The address is 303 N. June Street from 4:00 to 7:00. We will have a delicious grazing table, cocktails, strolling carolers and full dress Marines. As is our tradition at the Historical Society please bring an unwrapped toy for a little girl or boy to fill our Toys For Tots boxes.

Our friend and VP of events, Bret Parsons, is hosting a speaking engagement with developer and former Mayoral candidate, Rick Caruso and architect, Mark Appleton. Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 @ 12.30pm.
Marc Appleton and Bret have arranged for Rick Caruso to give a special presentation in the Silver Screen Theater at Pacific Design Center. Catered reception to follow in the Thomas Lavin Showroom.
This is not a Historical Society event but Rick Caruso is a very good speaker and so important to Los Angeles. I'm sure his presentation will be thought provoking. For more on this program click on the link below.
