This meetup is designed to build strong connections, create opportunities, and grow an investor network where deals and learning happen side by side. The Colorado Springs Chapter offers education-based content each month so you can learn specific strategies, tools, and processes that active investors use in real deals.

We genuinely want brand new investors in the room. If you have been circling real estate, unsure where to begin, this is the space where you can ask real questions and get real guidance. This month’s meeting will focus on real estate investing related laws that went into effect on January 1, 2026.

We will walk through new Colorado and federal legal changes that relate to:
• Property marketing and advertising
• Assignment and wholesale transactions
• Seller disclosures and contract compliance
• Landlord tenant obligations
• Pricing transparency and fee disclosures
• Title and closing requirements
• How deals are documented and sold in 2026

Bring your questions. We will cover what the laws say, where investors commonly make mistakes, and how to reduce legal and financial risk while still doing profitable real estate in Colorado.

We will also be playing the House Rules game.
A fun, low key card game, House Rules teaches the legal and ethical boundaries of wholesaling, marketing, and selling real estate in Colorado. Teams will be given real world deal scenarios and will decide whether each one is Clean or Illegal. Teams earn and lose cards based on whether they correctly identify compliance with the law, and the team with the best poker hand at the end wins.

This lets you learn how deals actually work under Colorado law in a hands on, low pressure way.
