Peer-to-Peer Skills Series: Boat Control - Life on the Edge!

Details
In this session we plan to practice and refine our paddling strokes and technique (this can change depending on what folks want to do). We will be focusing on turning and maneuvering fundamentals as well as edging to improve boat control, efficiency, and confidence. The session is coordinated by Tom and Ellen, members of the Skill Building Team at SMSKN, but participants are encouraged to share their own knowledge and experience with other paddlers so that we all learn from and support each another.
- Trip level: Beginner (Level 1) and above
- Bring: sea-worthy kayak with attachable spray deck, kayak must float when swamped, PFD, immersion clothing appropriate for water temperatures.
- Be ready to paddle at 4:00 PM, we will have some discussion before hand
- Please check weather and tide conditions before arriving so that you can prepare appropriately.
If you have not already, please complete the SMSKN participant agreement online at https://www.smskn.net/club-documents/1116-2/
The Event organizer will really appreciate your token of proactivity.
