Kayaks and Coffee at Kettle Cove!

Join the SMSKN Social Committee for a morning of kayaks and coffee!

We're bringing the fun format of "Cars and Coffee" to the paddling world. Whether you're a seasoned kayaker or just curious to learn more, all are welcome!

What to expect:

• Informal Gathering: This is a relaxed and casual event. Come as you are!
• Kayaks are Optional: Bring your kayak if you want to show it off or discuss it, but no worries if you just show up for coffee!
• Coffee & Donuts: Enjoy a cup of coffee or a donut while chatting about all things sea kayaking.
• Meet Fellow Paddlers: A great chance to connect with others in the local sea kayak community.
• Post-Event Paddle: If the weather cooperates, a few of us might paddle around Richmond Island after the event*.

• Discuss local paddling spots and trips.
• Enjoy the beautiful setting of Kettle Cove at sunrise.

* For those joining the post-meetup paddle, please bring a kayak with sufficient flotation if swamped and dress for immersion because ocean water temperatures are still very cold. Tentative plan would be approx. 6 nm distance.
