Skills Session - Boat Control

This is part of the Skills Committee weekly practice series. For this session we'll focus on boat controls to improve stability, efficiency, and, positioning using sweep, draw, and rudder strokes with and without edging.

This session is suitable for paddlers at all levels. The session is coordinated by Glen and Steve, members of the Skill Building Team at SMSKN, but participants are encouraged to share their own knowledge and experience with other paddlers so that we all learn from and support each another.

We will be using the beach near SMCC (Fort Rd and Slocum Dr in South Portland). We will have a brief on-shore meeting at 3pm and be on the water by 3:30.
