South Bristol Bimble: The Thread of Life Islands

Last minute, I know, but please join SMSKN friends for a "paddle and play" jaunt to the Thread of Life Islands. We will launch from Shipbuilder's Park in East Boothbay. Please arrive early as parking is limited. PADDLES WET AT 8:00 AM. We'll head down the west side of Rutherford Island and spend some time playing in the beautiful Thread of Life archipelago, returning up the east side, through the Gut and back to our launch site. Total distance about 9 NM. Dress for immersion, and bring a helmet if you wish to play in the rocks. We aim to be off the water by 2 PM.
