Mere Point to Little Whaleboat Island

Mid-summer leisurly paddle with stops on Islands.

Launch at 10 AM and head to the Goslings for a break and then to Little Whaleboat for lunch (bring your lunch).

It will be warm with light breezes and incoming tide; high tide at about 1:10pm. Bring a sea kayak with bulkheads and the usual safety gear: pump, float, compass, spray skirt, and a spare paddle it you have one. I think it will be about ten miles round trip if we go to Little Whaleboat.

I was going to launch from Bailey Island, but with higher seas forecast there and with the recent shark sightings, I thought that trip would need a bigger boat. So, Mere Point instead.
