Pre-rain Richmond Island Loop

Let's get in a quick paddle around this local jewel Sunday morning before the rain starts. Launch from Kettle Cove at 9:00 am and take the outside route around, watching the big breakers on Watts Ledge. If we wish we can stop on the island and walk around a bit. Return by noon or 1 pm-ish, depending on the weather and the wishes of the group. Leave your boat on the car for a free rinse afterwards.

Full winter gear for this; drysuit or equivalent and all safety equipment are required. Winds are now showing from the east but monitor the weather; this is an exposed island.
