About us
The Southern Nevada Women's History Project is a non-profit community organization that was established in 2009. We have social and educational luncheons with fun and entertaining speakers, a festive holiday tea, and other community activities throughout the year.
Some members also volunteer their time to write short biographies that we publish in collections. These books are either sold to the public or distributed for free to libraries and schools in Nevada.
Anyone who has an interest in attending social events with a great group of people or an interest in documenting Nevada history and getting published should join our group.
