What we’re about
Making video games is hard. It is fun, creative, hones skills you don't always get to use, and rewarding as hell. It is a long road that is best traveled with friends, so that's what we'd like to share with others.
We are a group to help people start, develop, and most importantly finish those video game projects we've been working on. If you would like a space to talk about and work on your projects in a social setting then come join us!

Upcoming events (1)
See all- Monthly Southern New Hampshire Game Dev Meetup (In-person)Nashua Public Library, Nashua, NH
Our next in-person meeting on Thursday, July 17 at the Nashua Public Library (NPL) from 6PM to 8PM. The NPL parking lot uses the Passport app like the rest of Nashua, and there are several places to eat within a 7-minute walking radius.
About the Meetup
Our group mission is to help people creating video games to find and get to know each other and their projects interests in Southern New Hampshire.
A typical in-person meeting starts with a round of quick introductions, also noting if people have demos or specific topics. Then, we go around the room again to address any topics followed by sharing your in-progress code, art, and music!
For in-person meetings, feel free to bring a laptop/portfolio with you to demo your in-progress work! Snacks and covered drinks are allowed in the conference room but we have to wipe things down and leave the room as we found it. We are bound by the NPL's code of conduct and policies while meeting in their space. https://www.nashualibrary.org/220/Meeting-Room-Policy
This group is for anyone with any amount of experience who is interested in making video games! Artists, musicians, sound designers, writers, programmers, and designers of all stripes are welcome! More information is available on our public website https://snhgamedev.github.io/
NOTE: Our discussion area is most lively on the Discord, not in Meetup's Discussions, so check us out there and say hello before meeting in-person!
