SONC Holiday Party at Lake of the Woods

PLEASE Respond so that we know how many to expect.

What: SONC Ski Outing followed by pizza at Lake of the Woods Resort. Club is purchasing pizza for paid SONC members or their family. Guests welcome but should purchase their own pizza.
When: Sunday**, January 04, 2026**
9 am for carpool departure, 10 am at trailhead
Where: Dead Indian Sno-Park Reminder: Vehicles need an Oregon Sno-Park pass
On ORE 140 , at Dead Indian Memorial Road intersection, past Lake of the Woods

Two Outing Choices:
Easy: Two and one half hours on a flatter surface, Trails to be determined. with Lessons possible. (two and a half hours total)
Intermediate: Three hour ski on Cold Springs and Return Loop trails
Lunch: Pizza at Lake of the Woods Resort Marina Café

Directions from Ashland : take Dead Indian Memorial Road to its end at Hwy 140 (about 40 miles), then go straight across OR 140 to the Sno-park

Directions from Medford: take Hwy 140 for 38 miles east of Crater Lake Hwy (ORE 62), Sno-Park is on the left.

Note: be there by 8:50 am for 9 am departure
Ashland – parking lot at CVS near the corner of Ashland St and Tolman Creek Rd.
White City - parking lot at the intersection of Crater Lake Hwy (ORE 62) and ORE 140. Dollar Tree and other stores.
