Let’s beat the heat and kayak beautiful Spring Creek in Collier Memorial State Park. This is a relatively easy paddle that is appropriate for beginners with some paddling experience. You need to have some degree of endurance.

We will paddle two miles to the headwaters of Spring Creek where you can view the unique phenomenon of water bubbling up from the underground headwaters of the springs.
No carpooling arrangements will be made due to kayak transport. If you have room for a second kayak and would like to carpool from Medford, please comment below.
If you’d like to camp nearby, Williamson River Campground and Collier Memorial State Park are available(www.recreation.gov).
