San Jose RACES Field Day

This year, San Jose RACES will be participating in the 2025 ARRL Field Day as a 2A (club portable) station.
We will be participating along with amateur radio operators in both US and Canada to practice our emergecy response capabilities, and to invite the public to see one piece of the amateur radio experience.
San Jose RACES will be operating four stations: HF, HF Digital, GOTA, and VHF, along with an information booth for the public.
We will need captains for each of the four stations to help plan and supervise the setup/operation/teardown of each station. Others will be needed to help setup/teardown the station along and everyone is invited to visit and operate one of our stations throughout the field day period.

Timeline is as follows
1700 June 27 to 1100 June 28 - Friday/Saturday Setup
1100 June 28 to 1100 June 29 - Saturday/Sunday Field Day Operation
1100 June 29 to 1300 June 29 - Sunday Teardown

The following positions are available for this event. You can state your preference when you sign up for the event. The event coordinator will attempt to accommodate your request. Based on the event and its requirements, the event coordinator may move hams to positions other than those requested.
