Please read the entire HamStudy listing: there are things to do before you show up. Location: Sunnyvale Rod and Gun Club, 11998 Stevens Canyon Rd, Cupertino, CA 95014. Fees: the W5YI exam fee is $14.00; check the HamStudy listing for the BAEARS session fee and payment details. We MUST check 2 forms of ID, one must be a picture ID. You MUST have your FCC FRN available for the license application, because the application cannot be processed without it. FRN info: https://www.fcc.gov/rofrn . The FCC charges a $35.00 application fee directly (BAEARS does not collect it): https://www.arrl.org/fcc-application-fee . If you have a current license and are upgrading, bring a copy of it. If you wish to take the Extra exam, you MUST study beforehand; the question pool is too large to cover in one day. Please do not be late: if you miss the orientation it will be very difficult to catch up. More info: https://www.baears.com
