This SPECS Meetup group was created to promote events related to Ham Radio and disaster communications in the Bay Area. The events may require registration with the hosting organization, but are usually free. We encourage and support all aspects of Ham Radio, as any operator is a potential EmComm operator.
SPECS is a 501c3 organization dedicated to helping recruit and train people to serve as Emergency Communicators during disasters or public service events.

The luncheon is a group of hams with over 600 years of experience, and topics range over just about anything related to ham radio.

Millbrae Amateur Radio Club Meeting
Millbrae Library, Millbrae, CA, Millbrae, CA, USWelcome to Millbrae Amateur Radio Club. We meet on the first Thursday of each month at the Millbrae Library Room A (1 Library Ave, Millbrae, CA 94030) at 6:45pm. We are doing hybrid meetings. Please feel free to drop in at our meeting or contact us for a zoom invitation. Club meetings are open to the general public; and you can learn how to get a license or upgrade. You can also check in on our net that happens on every Thursday evenings except on meeting days at 7:30pm on 146.490 mhz. Please feel free to drop by if you have a Amateur Radio license or not. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings and learn more about our club.
