We Hike to Heal Middle Georgia - ONHP "Mounds"
Details
We'll be hiking at Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park, or more commonly known as "The Mounds", which is a 3-4 mile trail just outside of Downtown Macon and 85 miles southeast of downtown Atlanta. This is a moderate hike with historical markers, views of the mounds, lots of ferns and moss, and occasional wildlife.
We welcome all fitness levels to join us; the goal is to enjoy the journey, we are never in a race!
Once we reach about halfway, we'll plan to take a break to catch our breath, enjoy the view and do a little gratitude journaling!
