This group originated in the bible belt state of Louisiana to create a space for those align with Secular Humanist principals. Humanism is not a religion, it is a philosophical life stance that emphasizes human reason, ethics, and social justice over dogma or supernatural beliefs.

-Those who are exploring humanism
-Atheists who align with the humanism principals
-Those who have deconstructed from religion but still crave community

MJ is a former Christian and practicing humanist located in the bible belt Southern state of Louisiana. She understands how lonely daring to think differently from the norm can be so she created this community.
