**POSTPONED** Beautiful Lake Geneva Shore Path Hike!

If the attendee list is full please add yourself to the waitlist. You are likely to end up able to attend as people change plans closer to the hike! Please update your RSVP to not attending if at any point you determine you are unable to attend!

All hikes in this group are subject to being rescheduled/cancelled due to inclement weather. Please keep an eye on the event page as any cancellations will be posted at least 48 hours in advance.

Let's get out to Lake Geneva and take in its beauty (hopefully) before it gets too busy and hot!

We will be hiking a roughly 2-3 mile segment of the Lake Geneva Shore Path out-and-back (so roughly 2-3 miles along the path and then back to the starting point; 4-6 miles total). We will NOT be hiking the entire shore path! This should be a more relaxing social hike largely intended for taking in the beautiful views as the trail itself is mostly flat and partially paved. Please note the starting location next to the Lake Geneva Public Library. The exact location as marked on the map for the event page is where we'll plan to meet. There should be lots of places to park nearby, but plan to arrive early enough to find parking and arrive at the meeting location by 11am.

We'll be taking our time at a slower pace to allow for photos and taking in the beauty of our surroundings so expect to have at least 2-3 hours set aside for this as we will not be rushing.

Though we will be moving at a slower pace please be mindful of your own physical ability before RSVPing. This is not intended to be a fitness hike and will employ a fair pace with ample breaks, but the length of this hike may be a bit much for some so consider the long distance and trail details prior to RSVPing.

As with any event in this group, you are solely responsible for your safety and well-being at all times. Bring water, appropriate clothing, and whatever else you need to ensure a comfortable hike. I as the event organizer will ensure all members of the group are visible and accounted for at all times, but this group and myself by extension do not accept responsibility for any injuries incurred over the course of any group event.
