Welcome to the kickoff meeting of Nuclear NY - Southern Tier! We're excited to have you.
This is a hybrid meeting. Please join in person if you're able so we can build community more effectively, but if you want to join online here's the link via Google Meet: meet.google.com/efg-ncmv-aou

Tompkins County Library (101 E Green St Ithaca, NY)

Agenda: 6-7 pm at the library, 7-8 pm out for drinks/social
* Very brief intros (5 mins)
* Short intro to "Why Nuclear Power?" (5 mins)
* Short intro to the NYS Blueprint for Advanced Nuclear Power (5 mins)
* Purpose and history of Nuclear NY with guest hosts from downstate and potentially other nuclear orgs (20 mins)
* Actions we can take to support nuclear (10 mins). You could bring a laptop so you can submit advocacy emails in real time.
* Discuss ways folks want to get involved, connections we have to relevant organizations, rotating meeting locations across the Southern Tier, etc. (15 mins)
7 pm - 8 pm
Walk over to the Monks on the Commons (Marriott Ithaca Downtown) and hang out to get to know each other better. 120 S Aurora Street
