Miami Hardware Meetup — Tech Week
The LAB Miami - The Wynwood Building, 2750 NW 3rd Ave, Miami, FL, USHi everyone! South Florida IoT is back, and the the timing couldn’t be better!
South Florida’s tech scene is accelerating, but most of the attention is still on software and AI at the surface level. The real opportunity right now is in hardware the systems, sensors, and devices that actually make everything work. That’s where things get durable, and where a lot of the next wave of value is going to be built.
We’re bringing the group back with that in mind.This upcoming meetup is being co-organized and hosted with Anthony Maurceri, and it’s focused on rebuilding a strong, local community around hardware and IoT.
The format is simple and intentional: a group of builders, engineers, and technically curious people getting in the same room to share what they’re working on, talk through ideas, and connect with others in the space. Expect a mix of networking, real conversations, and opportunities to plug into projects or collaborations. This is less of a panel, more of a working community vibe.
If you’ve been meaning to get more involved on the hardware side or just want to be around people actually building, this is a good one to show up to.

If you’re into hardware, IoT, robotics, or just building things in general, this is one of the best events of the year to see what people are actually making. Maker Faire brings together engineers, artists, tinkerers, and builders of all kinds showing off everything from DIY electronics and robots to large-scale interactive installations.
This won’t be a formal meetup just a chance for the South Florida IoT group to show up, explore, and connect in person. We’ll coordinate a time and place to meet up at the event so we can walk the Faire together, meet builders, and see what’s going on.
