Letter From Birmingham Jail - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Details
Let's shift gears and move away from metaphysics and speculative idealism and rationalism towards more practical matters. For next group we will read through Dr. King's Letter from Birmingham Jail. Many of you will be familiar and some might never have read this before. Dr. King was more than a civil rights leader; he was an erudite scholar and consummate orator. He was deeply influenced by German existentialist theologians such as Paul Tillich, on whom he wrote his dissertation. Let us read with an open mind and discuss together next month. -Brent
