Thank you to everyone who came out for our discussion of Prof. Chomsky's essay. It was a packed house full of lively discussion. Chomsky's assertion of truth qua truth and exposing lies is certainly relevant to our current political zeitgeist.

We will be contrasting Chomsky with Nietzsche, who is the antithesis to Chomsky's polemical objectivity and moral realism. What is truth? What is a lie? Nietzsche is often considered the founder of post-modernism, and here we will dive into an early essay (1876) where he discusses truth, error, pain, pleasure, and subjectivity.
