Early Morning Hike at Reynold's Park

Details

We will meet in the main parking lot for Reynold's Park. This is Jeffco open space so no State Park's pass required. If you have not been to this park, the hike is a bit more "aggressive" in places (as in, straight up), but is also really beautiful. The main loop is about 4 miles, but we are going to start with an additional 2 mile loop on the north side of the park. We'll hike the first loop clockwise: Northfork Trail to the Idylease campground, and will take the Chickadee Trail back to the main parking lot.

We will then be hiking in a counter-clockwise direction: Fox Trot Trail to Elkhorn Loop, right onto Raven's Roost, another right onto Eagle's View, another right onto Oxen Draw, then back onto Elkhorn Loop.

It might be a little chilly when we start so you may want to bring a layer. We are meeting in the parking lot by 7am; we will start hiking at 7:05.

Don't forget to bring water!
