Staunton State Park - Mtn Biking

Details

I know this is kind of early, but this park gets crowded, probably because it's so beautiful!

I haven't scheduled too many biking events with this group, but let's give it a try! We will meet at the Mason Creek parking lot (take a right after the Visitor Center), at 8:00am; please be prepared to ride by 8:10am. We'll ride up the Mason Creek trail and cross over to the Staunton Ranch trail. We'll follow SR to the North Elk Creek trail to Rusty Buckle, then take the Rusty Buckle trail to Border Line, back to SR. Essentially, we are doing a lollipop. I haven't done parts of this particular ride, but I do not believe there are any super-aggressive climbs. This is also not a particularly technical ride. However, if you have never been on a mtn bike, this is not the ride for you. I'm guessing this will be about 11-13 miles total. If you have questions about the difficulty, please reach out!

If you sign up, please show up, otherwise please change your RSVP (even if it's at the last minute--I get it, things come up).

Hope to see you there!
