Saturday Hike at OFallon Park

We are going to start at the OFallon parking lot but will be hiking through OFallon and Pence parks. We will take the Bear Creek Cutoff trail to the Bear Creek Trail. We'll hike the Bear Creek Trail up to the Pence Park parking lot, and from there we will do an out and back on the Independence Peak Trail. Once we get back to the Pence Park parking lot, we'll take the Bear Creek Trail back to the West Ridge Trail back to the OFallon lot. Total miles is 6.5(ish) miles. I'm hoping it isn't icy on the trail, but there might be spots that are a little slick (or muddy?).
