Hi SWFL Social Adventurers! My name is Nathan Corkhill and I am a Realtor. I am a SWFL native, born and raised here. I created this group for people looking to socialize and share adventurous activities with other like-minded people... and maybe even find others to travel to awesome places together! We're open to anyone and everyone with an adventurous spirit!!! We are all about getting back to the basics of being social, living adventurously, being in the moment, and simply enjoying life to its fullest!!! Let's Hike - Hiking Big Cypress (6.5 Mile Hike Red Trail)

We will be walking the 6.5 mile trail.
This trail might be walking through water so bring extra shoes
We'll start hiking at 8 :30 am sharp.
Donations are welcome
Please look for the Meetup Sign.

Where: Florida Trail in Big Cypress at the Mile Marker 62- 63 Rest Area in Alligator Alley (I-75). .

Directions: Meet 8 am am if traveling directly to the trailhead. Make your way to I-75 towards Naples. (Alligator Alley, this is a toll road). Travel east on I-75 to the REST AREA at Mile Marker 62- 63. Exit I-75 at mile marker 62-- 63 and park in the parking lot immediately on the right by the fence and gate after you exit.

The hike will be 6.5. miles. A walking stick is highly recommended.
Serious and prepared hikers only. No stragglers.

Bring an "Adequate Water Supply". If not sure, then do some research first. In addition, the terrain on this hike is rough so wear sturdy footwear.

Bring lunch and water.

Must bring two quarts of beverage or you will not be allowed to participate. Also suggest you bring snacks, apples, bananas, bug spray, and a camera.
